Most of us head towards summer full of great intentions, spiritually. We say to ourselves: “I’m going to really get into the Bible now that I have more time", "I’m going to transform my prayer life", "read good books", "evangelise to my friends.”
Two months later...
...our Bibles are covered in dust, we haven’t prayed in days, our discipline has been strangled by the lack of routine or support. And yes, we go on teams and have some great times drawing nearer to God, but so much time that could have been so beneficial is still wasted. At least, that's my story!
In a small way this blog will help us all as members of Belfast CUs this summer. We can study Luke together, discuss our thoughts and questions online and in person; growing together as a team on campus and hopefully closer to Christ as well. These summer months studying Luke together are the beginning of our training and preparation for the upcoming and exciting Luke's Gospel and Uncover projects. We can already be prayerfully excited about all that God plans to do in Belfast next year!
